so why do christian shop owners use there own religion to make billions of dollars profit on [ Jesus'es name]?
Just to let you know not all Christians celebrate Christmas.Really I was taught that Christmas is against everything Jesus stood for.Greed,paganism,hypocrisy, and It encourages lying.Preachers even lie and say Christmas is in the Bible when nowhere does it say when he was born.Also you have all these parents lying about santa.Really does it make any sense? Half the kids in the world he gives toys to but the rest he leaves to starve ?Does it make sense that year after year rich kids get great stuff but poor kids Moms have to seek out charitys and if they do not have a way there or they miss the cutoff date too bad.Also so many people do not even use the charitys they simply cancel christmas because the charities are overwhelmed by welfare moms who sign up for every freebie around.Sometimes those kids have way better christmases material wise than Joe and his wife who work at the factory and struggle to pay bills of all kinds.Those kids are often not eligable so they end up with a dollar store christmas.IT disgusts me.I am glad I do not celebrate especially since I have have lost my job this year. Its a greedy holiday. Not something Christ would approve of.The only thing I really like about this time of year are large family dinners since every body is off work and charitys like coats for kids.Charities are good things that come from many peoples hearts at this time of year. I try to donate to worthwhile ones in years past.
