Drive these, and I’m not down to ride..
Just purchased Consumer Report magazine’s annual Auto Issue, which highlights some of the best new vehicles on the market today or in the near future.
However, I want to take some time to highlight some of the cars I think are just absolute poop, for lack of a better, non-cursing, word. These are picks based solely on my opinion, and not necessarily based on specs, because I’m sure some of these cars are good performers. Most are mainly eye-sores, as you will see. (I’ll be doing a reverse countdown, but they’re not in any order necessarily. Also note I’m speaking of newest models)В No offense to those who own these cars, hopefully not by a choice of their own. =D
Without further adieu…
10) ANY Saturn, Pontiac, Buick, Chrysler, Oldsmobile, and GMC (besides Sierra for utility truck drivers) – Not only are most of these car company’s now obsolete, they are just crap cars. First of all, these vehicles are never eye-catching in a good way. They are often styled for old geezers or for those fond of Nascar. Not good. Also, the reliability of these cars are questioned. As a former Pontiac owner, I can attest to this. Usually cheaply constructed, there’s not much good in holding onto one of these vehicles.
9) Any Mitsubishi (besides Evolution, maybeee Eclipse), or any Kia – Alright, I didn’t want to seem completely biased against American cars, so these are a couple Asian automakers that have been going downhill in my opinion. Mitsubishi has never been a forerunner in the Japanese auto maker race, always finishing behind the big names like Honda, Toyota, and Nissan. The quality of their cars are just weak in comparison. Now add in poor styling choices and you just have generic mush with a Japanese name tag. As for Kia’s, sure they’re known as budget cars, and should be judged as such. Still, these cars are just not good looking. Also very generic looking, and lame. They should take a lesson from neighboring Hyundai. They are on the rise.
